Manitoba Public Health has advised the University of Manitoba of a potential measles exposure involving a person who was on the Fort Garry campus during their infectious period.
Exposure locations and dates:
Health officials have indicated this is an exposure event, not an outbreak.
If you were in these locations on the listed dates, please follow the guidance provided by Manitoba Public Health. Individuals who develop symptoms are advised to isolate at home and contact their health-care provider.
UM has processes to support individuals who need time away from school or work due to illness. If you become ill or need to isolate, please speak with your supervisor or instructor.
