Education Building: Potential measles exposure

Manitoba Public Health has advised the University of Manitoba of a potential measles exposure involving a person who was on the Fort Garry campus during their infectious period.

Health officials say this is a single exposure event, not an outbreak.
If you were in this location on the listed date, please follow the guidance provided by Manitoba Public Health. Individuals who develop symptoms are advised to isolate at home and contact their healthcare provider.

UM has processes to support individuals who need time away from school or work due to illness. If you become ill or need to isolate, please speak with your supervisor or instructor.
