Introducing digital UM documents through MyCreds

Important changes are coming to how students will send and receive official UM documents.

RO Team

Beginning Nov. 6, 2026, the University of Manitoba will be using MyCreds for secure digital delivery and sharing of official Transcripts and Enrolment Verification letters.

MyCreds is a digital wallet, used by many universities and colleges across Canada as a secure platform for sending, receiving and verifying official documents. Shared documents are cryptographically signed, meaning they are guaranteed as authentic and secure.

This change will provide students, graduates, and third parties with faster, more convenient access to official UM documents. Other official documents, including Confirmation of Degree Awarded letters, will be added to this platform in the coming months.

All Transcripts and Enrolment Verification letters will be ordered through Aurora and distributed to students via MyCreds. Students will be able to share official documents directly with other institutions, organizations, or individuals.

While the move to MyCreds is underway, students will be unable to order Transcripts and Enrolment Verification letters between Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. and Nov. 6 at 8:30 a.m. Students requiring these documents urgently are encouraged to order them by Nov. 1.

Students will continue ordering documents using Aurora, and the documents will be accessed and shared through MyCreds. So, students will need to create a MyCreds account to access documents ordered through Aurora, or use an existing account if they already have documents from another institution.

Watch for more details on the RO website and UM’s MyCreds webpage.
