The Final 12: Finalists Announced for the 2026 UM Three Minute Thesis

Twelve finalists. One stage. Three minutes to explain it all. We’ve officially selected the top researchers advancing to the UM 3MT finals.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies is excited to announce the 12 challengers advancing to the final UM 3MT© (Three Minute Thesis) competition! After 3 preliminary heats held last week, nine finalists chosen by judging panels and three wildcard selections will now compete in the final event.

Join us for an evening of innovation, insight, and inspiration as these researchers present their groundbreaking work on April 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Robert B. Shultz Theatre, St. John’s College. All are welcome to attend!
