To prepare the UM research community, a new 15-minute information session is available for faculties, departments and research groups interested in learning more about the proposed requirements and available supports.
The presentation follows a similar one introducing our RDM Institutional Strategy in 2023-24. Representatives from UM Libraries, the Office of Research Services, and Information Services and Technology will present with time for questions.
Contact libraryresearchservices@umanitoba.ca with inquiries.
Libraries, ORS and IST are working together to coordinate support for researchers in meeting these new requirements.
To coordinate efforts across UM, the Research Data Management Steering Committee which led the development of the UM’s RDM Policy in 2023 has reconvened and is actively planning for this next phase of change.
See Research Data Management (Research website) for details, and for an email address to contact the group with questions, comments or concerns.
